Welcome to the R. S. Barnwell Memorial Garden and Art Center Website!
We are excited to announce that the
Friends of
the Barnwell have developed a strategic vision with a plan
to restore the splendor of the R. S. Barnwell Memorial Garden &
Art Center, or as we call it
“The Barnwell”.
Beginning in
the fall of 2006, “The Barnwell” will launch an incredible and
ambitious renovation that is sure to rekindle the interest in our
unique cultural center and spark additional improvements to our
wonderful Riverfront location.
In today’s
Internet World, this website is sure to be integral to that effort.
We are beginning our renovation and reconstruction early—so pay
attention, come back often, and welcome again!

Philanthropist Dr. Tom Reilly
pioneered the initial Barnwell website, volunteering
many hours developing and maintaining the site for
several years. His initiative and innovation inspired
this website, for which we are very grateful.
