Our mission is to promote and support visual arts and music which capitalizes on our cultural diversity; to educate the community about art and horticulture; to develop the artistic skills of artists and children in our community; and to provide quality professional art exhibitions, music performances and horticulture programming to enhance our community spirit.
For more than 25 years The Friends of the Barnwell have endeavored to ensure that the Shreveport- Bossier community and all visitors to our area experience the finest in art and horticulture.
